Academic Medical Press is pleased to announce a new collaboration with SSE Limited that specializes in education courses. SSE has noted the importance of USMLE Step 1 and IFOM BSE preparation for ambitious internationally-minded medical trainees and has accordingly designed face-to-face professional courses by making use of their excellent international educators.
SSE understands that it can be difficult for junior doctors to identify and access high quality support that will have a real and positive impact on their USMLE scores. To help wth these issues we have created a high intensity week-long workshop that allows the attendees to practise answering questions similar in style, standard and content to the actual USMLE exam under exam conditions, followed by reviewing their answers with experienced educators with no more than 60 students per session.

The SSE USMLE Step 1 Workshop facilitates improvements in USMLE scores by providing the opportunity for attendees to consolidate their basic scientific pre-clinical knowledge and skills together with providing valuable exam technique practice. We understand that it is challenging for even the most disciplined and ambitious student to
practise USMLE level mcqs by themselves
under exam conditions and then review their own
answers with the support and guidance of an
experienced medical academic. We remove this
burden on the student by supplying just such support and practise during
our intensive workshop sessions. Our experienced educators have used such sessions to improve USMLE exam performance in the past and will guide the attendees to improve their future USMLE scores.
As part of the commitment to excellence in this workshop our acclaimed international professors have compiled comprehensive curated high yield reading material to be made available to potential attendees after registration. This pre-workshop reading material is valuable preparatory material for both the USMLE Step 1 and IFOM BSE.
